Physical Demands


Must be in excellent health with strong back and knees.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 100 pounds.  Should have the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and withstand heights.

Base Wages


Beginning Apprentice - $20.92 per hour w/Vacaton

Journeyman - $37.92 per hour w/Vacation

APPLICANTS MUST MEET THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS

Working Conditions


Outside, with exposure to excessive noise, high temperatures (both heat and cold), dust, fumes, smoke, dealing with being at extreme heights and working from ladders, scaffolds and aerial lifts.

​Nature of Work


Welding, burning, rigging, climbing steel, walking on narrow steel members at extreme heights, lifting heavy materials.

1.  Be at least 18 year of age.


2.  Possess a High School Diploma or HSE.


3.  Provide copies of the following documents when submitting the application:


     a.  Valid proof of age (Picture ID, Birth Certificate or Drivers License)


     b.  High School Diploma or GED Test Scores.


4.  Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.

Term of Apprenticeship

Four-year program, college accredited class, 6000 hours of on-the-job training, 532 total minimum classroom hours in the apprentice program.

Except for Holidays and the first Friday of every month, applications are accepted year-round Monday-Friday between the hours of 9:00 am and 11:00 am.
